Primetime Ratings, Wednesday, 7/31/13

NBC won the night in all measures.

'America's Got Talent' fell yet again, dropping a tenth to a 2.3. Lead-out 'Camp' actually managed to rise a bit for a change, posting a 1.2. FOX's 'MasterChef' dipped by a single tenth, earning a 2.2. Despite this, the series came very close to unseating 'AGT' from the 9pm timeslot throne. 'Big Brother' dropped sharply, declining three tenths to a 2.0 for CBS. ABC news-magazine program 'The Lookout' rose for the first time in several weeks, drawing an 0.8 demo.

FYI, the reason that Saving Hope wasn't included is because it no longer airs in the USA. The daily ratings reports only cover the big 5 American broadcast networks.

msd85: Thanks for the tags tip. bad_subject: I know how hard it is to code a good search. I wrote a few of my own back in the days when parties were thrown upon the arrival of a server with 7 SCSI drives RAIDED (5)together to give a whole GB of hard drive space. We grumbled about bloated apps that needed a whole MB of RAM. And in the end it turns out the program I was curious about (Saving Hope) wasn't even listed in the ratings. I love that show and wanted to see how it is doing in order to get some idea of whether I can expect it to be renewed for another season. And why is my nickname always changed from "Rob" to "Anonymous" when I post a comment?

I also apologize for your frustration Anonymous. Another good way to find prior ratings pieces is to click the word "Primetime" in the tags box on the right of the page.

Anonymous: We are having a lot of difficulties with our search function, I agree. Sorry for your frustration. The best way to view Monday's ratings at this point is to click on our writer, Michael Stevenson's name and find it in his list.

Sorry for the hassle!

How the heck do you go back to earlier ratings? I'm curious about Monday. Huge fail by the web developers: using their search tool to search for "primetime ratings" turns up absolutely nothing of relevance to that topic. Another huge fail by the web developers is that I can't even post URLs here to show how I tried to change the URL for this page in order to go back a couple of days!
