'The Following's Warren Kole is Now a 'Person of Interest'

Warren Kole

One of the breakout hits of the 2013 TV season was FOX serial killer drama 'The Following.' A big part of that success was the intriguing performance of Joe Carroll's cult members, one of the highest ranking of which was a loyal soldier named Roderick. Exuding equal parts charm and menace, actor Warren Kole often stole scenes from more established performers like James Purefoy, Natalie Zea, and Kevin Bacon. While Kole won't be donning his sheriff's uniform for 'The Following's second season, he'll be busy getting himself into all kinds of trouble on popular CBS action series 'Person of Interest.'

A few weeks ago, 'POI' producers announced that a planned season three episode would involve the show's most prominent female characters (Taraji P. Henson's Detective Carter, Paige Turco's Zoe Morgan, and Sarah Shahi's rogue secret agent Shaw) teaming up to get the attention of Reese and Finch's latest number. According to TV Line, Kole will be playing their aforementioned target, a notorious ladies man and rich NYC playboy. Getting access to the as-yet-unnamed character proves difficult for our main duo, leading them to call in their sexy secret weapons. The episode in question is titled 'Lady Killer', but considering the plot, I kind of wish it was called 'Johnny's Angels'.

The 22 episode third season of 'Person of Interest' premieres at its new night and time on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 10pm. 'Lady Killer' is scheduled to be the third episode, and will likely air in mid-October.

Are you excited to see the women of 'POI' team up to catch Warren Kole's 'Lady Killer'?

I'm reserved about this season. I've enjoyed the show quite a bit so far, but I was (and am) disappointed at the news that Sarah Shahi joined the regular cast. I enjoyed her as an occasional guest star but I'm concerned her character will ruin -- or at least diminish -- the dynamic of the original characters.

That said, a single episode where the women take center stage could be fun. They're all talented and fun to watch. And of course, gorgeous!

I loved him on 'Common Law' and 'The Following.' I can't wait see him on POI!

Breakout hit? It must have been better received in the US than it was here in the UK then.
