UPDATE: 'Game of Thrones' Has Cast Michiel Huisman As...

Michiel Huisman

The other day we reported that HBO was getting back into the Michiel Huisman business. The Dutch actor played Sonny on HBO's 'Treme' and is now returning to the subscription network for a role on the next season of 'Game of Thrones.' The role was being kept under wraps... but now The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Huisman will be playing Daario Naharis, replacing Ed Skrein. There is currently no word on why Skrein is departing the series. Huisman is a star of 'Nashville,' best known as Liam McGuinnis from that series. This Dutch actor has also starred in a number of series in his home of Netherlands. He also recently appeared in the feature film 'World War Z' and will be appearing in the upcoming feature 'American Dream' opposite Nick Stahl.

'Game of Thrones' fans became excited a few days ago when Huisman's personal trainer posted a photo on Instagram of Huisman bulking up for his 'Game of Thrones' role. The 'Nashville' star is one of many new cast members coming to 'Game of Thrones' next season, including Joseph Gatt ('Thor,' 'Star Trek Into Darkness'), Roger Ashton-Griffiths ('Gangs of New York,' 'You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger') and Pedro Pascal ('Red Widow,' 'Graceland'). While it is known that Ashton-Griffiths will be playing Joseph GattMace Tyrell and Pascal will portray The Red Viper, Gatt's character has remained as murky as Huisman's--yet the commenters on his page seem to think Gatt will be playing Styr.

The new season of 'Game of Thrones' is said to mostly be based on the latter half of the third 'A Song of Ice and Fire' books titled 'A Storm of Swords.' Styr, Magnar of Thenn, the wildling leader known for his muscular build and hairless body, seems a natural choice for Gatt (an actor known for his physicality). George R. R. Martin has gone on record about the fact that Styr will appear in the fourth season of the series, so this speculation seems a safe bet.

Indira Varma ('Rome') has also joined the next season cast, as The Red Viper's love interest, Ellaria Sand.

Are you a fan of the book series by Martin? Which casting seems the best fit? And which is not how you imagined?

Modern insurance practices can be traced back to 17th-century London, where the famous Lloyd's of London had its start. Interestingly, Edward Lloyd's business establishment wasn't an insurance QuotesChimp at all.* It was a dockside coffeehouse where business investors and merchants met to negotiate insurance protection for shipping. Investors, called underwriters, would agree to insure the ship and cargo of a proposed trip. The more dangerous the voyage was thought to be, the higher the price of the insurance. Because travel by ship was, almost by definition, dangerous, few underwriters would agree to be responsible for the entire risk of loss. Instead, several underwriters would typically insure individual voyages, sharing in the benefit and loss proportionate to the percentage of the entire underwriting cost that each individually assumed. Thus, the risk of loss was spread and then spread again.
