‘Spartacus’ Alum Cynthia Addai-Robinson Joins ‘Arrow’ as Notorious Villain
The list of guest-stars on the hit CW DC Comics-based series ‘Arrow’ keeps on growing. This time around, ‘Spartacus’ alum Cynthia Addai-Robinson is joining the show, TVGuide.com exclusively reported yesterday.
Who will she play? Addai-Robinson will portray villain Amanda Waller. For those not familiar with the character, not only is she mysterious, but she is also employed at A.R.G.U.S. aka Advanced Research Group United Support. Of course, the agency has it’s own agenda and even has some information on the Arrow. Uh oh, that doesn’t sound good for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). In the comics, Waller is head of the Suicide Squad, which will be showcased in Season 2 thanks to the union of Deadshot (Michael Rowe) and Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White).
No word yet if Addai-Robinson’s role will be recurring, but there is great potential. Also, it’s not like fans of ‘Arrow’ won’t get their fill of guest-stars. So far, Summer Glau, Kevin Alejandro, Bex Taylor-Klaus and Caity Lotz will all appear in the upcoming season.
You can expect Amanda Waller to show up in Season 2 Episode 6. ‘Arrow’ premieres Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c.
