Which 'Parks and Recreation' Star Will Appear on 'The Simpsons'?

The cast of Parks and Recreation

Let's hope Springfield is loaded up on waffles, because Leslie Knope is coming to town! That's right, folks -- according to Entertainment Weekly, the ever-talented 'Parks and Recreations' star Amy Poehler is set to reprise her role as Bart's future ex-wife in an upcoming episode of 'The Simpsons.' Pawnee would be so proud!

Set 30 years from now, Jenda (Poehler's character), will be dating a crab-like alien creature and her feuding with Bart is stronger than ever. "Bart is trying to get over his divorce and he does it in a bit of a 'Total Recall'-type way,” executive producer Al Jean hints about the episode. “I won’t give away what happens, but that’s a clue.”

Titled 'Days of Future Future,' the episode is slated to air in the spring and serves as a sequel to Season 16's futuristic counterpart 'Future-Drama,' in which Poehler first voiced Jenda. Perhaps this time around she can educate her fellow Springfielders on the amazing "Leslie Knope Friendship Code" (ovaries before brovaries, people!). And you just know the ladies would love learning all about Galentine's Day - the greatest made-up holiday of all time.

Other celebrities scheduled to fill 'The Simpsons' Season 25 guest roster include Kristen Wiig, Daniel Radcliffe, Elisabeth Moss, Will Arnett, and Eva Longoria.

The series will premiere Sunday, Sept. 29 on FOX. Will you be tuning in to watch?

Who cares? Until Charlie Manson gets a voice spot nothing matters.
