Those of us still recovering from last night's tour-de-force episode of 'Breaking Bad' (which is everyone that watched it) have many questions. How will the show end? What do the cast think of their characters' fates? Is Vince Gillian the craziest genius in TV history? We may just get answers to at least some of those questions next Monday night, as the entire principal cast is set to appear on Conan O'Brien's self-titled TBS program 'Conan.'
Conan has long espoused his love for 'Breaking Bad,' both on-air and off, so its really no surprise that his show would get chosen as the venue for such an occasion. This will be the first time that the whole cast has appeared together on a talk show, and one can only imagine what stories they'll have to share about the making of the final season.
Set to participate are Bryan Cranston (Walt), Aaron Paul (Jesse), Anna Gunn (Skyler), Dean Norris (Hank), Betsy Brandt (Marie), Bob Odenkirk (Saul), and R.J. Mitte (Walt Jr., a.k.a. Flynn). Sadly, memorable supporting actors Jonathan Banks (Mike), and Giancarlo Esposito (Gus) are not scheduled to join the festivities. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if one or both make a surprise appearance at some point during the show.
The 'Breaking Bad' episode of 'Conan' will air Monday night at 11/10c on TBS. That is of course one night after the Primetime Emmys are handed out, so I'd expect to see at least a couple actors carrying gold statues. The series finale of 'Breaking Bad' airs on AMC on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9/8c.
