New 'Revolution' Season 2 Teaser Promises a 'Fantastical Edge'

Revolution season 2 clip

Last May, 'Revolution' fans watched in horror as the show's quest to turn the power back on resulted in deadly consequences and the release of giant nuclear missiles hurtling toward the East Coast. (Yikes!) While the Season 2 premiere is still a little over a week away, the network has offered up a sneak peek (via Entertainment Weekly) of what's to come of our beloved, electricity-challenged characters.

The first episode back will pick up right where we left off, with everyone trying desperately to correct their mistakes. However, that won’t last long since the series will be jumping three months forward in time where a whole new set of problems can start to unfold.

So what can fans expect of the upcoming season? We'll get introduced to a new walled city in Texas very similiar to what we've seen in the past. However, the video promises to give a more "fantastical edge" to the show this year, whatever that means. (It's sounding a little bit like a 'Lost'-vibe to me. Maybe some sort of smoke monster will make an appearance? Who knows!)

Don't worry, it will still be the same show you've grown to love, and between all the nervous breakdowns, murdering missions, refugee camps, and a potential “bigger force” at play, there will be plenty of action to hold your interest. Just think of it as 'Revolution' with a few added twists!

Check out the sneak peek video below for a first look at how it will all play out:

'Revolution' Season 2 premieres Wed, Sept. 25 at 8/7c on NBC.

Give me some actually sci-fi over people walking though forests shouting at eachother any day. Hopefully the Farscape writers going to be a nice positive influence. Now to try to retcon the silly nano tech "eating electricity" rubbish

-- Yes. Are you sure? Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Why is top-posting such a bad thing? Top-posting. What is the most annoying thing in e-mail? No. Should I include quotations after my reply?
