FOX is gearing up for a brand new season of fall TV in the best way possible — by getting in touch with its foxy side. The network has cleverly created its very own version of "The Fox," the online video sensation and catchy dance song from Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis. And there's only one word to properly describe it: Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow!
The new FOX promo (check it out here), which is set to start airing later tonight, features an array of all your TV favorites (complete with furry animal headgear) — including 'Glee' star Jane Lynch, 'New Girl' star Lamorne Morris, 'Sleepy Hollow' stars Orlando Jones and Katia Winter, and many, many more — all singing and dancing along to the song's nonsensical chorus. Clips from an assortment of FOX shows are also synced to the highly repetitive (but somehow super catchy) tune.
Normally, the network has shied away from making a "Fox" correlation between the network's name and the animal, however, this song seems to be the one exception (and we're sure glad it is). What does the fox say, you ask? It says it's time for the fall TV season to begin!
The Ylvis song was originally posted on September 3 and has already hit more than 32 million YouTube views, helping it debut at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
