CBS won the prized 18-49 demo, while NBC drew more total viewers.
Despite CBS' victory, things weren't exactly sunshine and roses. The 90-minute 'Survivor' premiere was down over half a point from last fall's debut, and is now the lowest rated fall premiere in the history of the long-running series. The 90-minute 'Big Brother' finale was up slightly from last week, but down slightly from last fall's season capper.
Night nine of NBC's 'The Million Second Quiz' continued its trend of coming in below what last week's episode from the same night earned. The two-hour 'America's Got Talent' finale was up a healthy amount from last week, and also up a bit from last fall's season ender. FOX's 'The X-Factor' matched last week's extremely disappointing 2.2., in what looks to be a bad sign for the rest of the season.
