'The Originals' may still be over a week away from its premiere, however, this 'Vampire Diaries' spin-off series has generously given fans a little something to sink their teeth into, in the meantime. Eight brand new character posters have been released, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, showcasing the core cast members all covered in a dark red hue.
You don't need cryptic taglines to understand the message loud and clear — things are about to get bloody in New Orleans. (And we couldn't be more excited!)
Fans got their first taste of this latest vampire-centric show — which centers around Klaus and his merry band of Original siblings — back in April when 'TVD' aired a backdoor pilot to the series. Vampires, werewolves, and angry witches — oh my! It's bound to be a bloody good time.
Check out the eight character posters below and get psyched for what's sure to be an action-packed season. We're (AB)positive it's going to be fangtastic.
Joseph Morgan as Klaus
How far will he go to reclaim what was once rightfully his? Let the battle for the throne begin!
Charles Michael Davis as Marcel
It looks like the student has become the master. This protégé won't give up his kingdom without a fight.
Daniel Gillies as Elijah
Does Elijah have what it takes to hold his family together amid his brother's wrath?
Claire Holt as Rebekah
This sassy vamp is sure to take New Orleans by storm.
Phoebe Tonkin as Hayley
She came looking to understand her past, but what she found was an unexpected future...as a supernatural parent.
Daniela Pineda as Sophie
A powerful witch with a connection to Hayley? Okay, we're listening.
Danielle Campbell as Davina
So far, we know very little about this new witch, but odds are she has a very intriguing backstory that is just dying to be uncovered.
Leah Pipes as Camille
As one of the lone humans on the show, let's hope this lady knows how to handle the supernatural. (We wouldn't recommend getting so much as a paper cut around this bunch).
'The Originals' premieres on Thursday, Oct. 3 starting at 9/8c on The CW.
