‘The Following’ is getting even more “popular” with its latest addition: actress Leslie Bibb.
According to TVGuide.com, Bibb is joining the bloody good series as Jana Murphy, a suburban housewife, who may or may not be one of Joe Carroll’s (James Purefoy) followers. Unexpectedly, Bibb’s character will somehow end up with Carroll. So far, there’s no word on how many episodes she’ll appear in, but as fans of the show know it’s very likely she could get killed off quite quickly.
This isn’t the only series Bibb will be starring in this year. She’ll also be spotted in the upcoming NBC series ‘About a Boy,’ alongside Minnie Driver and David Walton. Bibb's also appeared in 'Popular,' 'GCB' and 'Crossing Jordan.'
The upcoming season of ‘The Following’ is filled with all kinds of guest-stars. From Connie Nielsen to Keith Carradine to Jessica Stroup to the surprising (for some) return of Purefoy as serial killer Carroll, the second season isn’t shying away from talent.
The latest actress, besides Bibb, to join the series is ‘True Blood’s Carrie Preston. As most know, Preston is one phenomenal actress, so it’s only fitting that she play a Joe Carroll “groupie,” named Judy. I think she’ll play that role beautifully.
Do you think Bibb will make a good addition to the cast, even if she only appears in one episode?
‘The Following’ begins midseason on FOX.
