‘CSI’ is adding another investigator to its Las Vegas team, TVLine reported yesterday.
‘ER’ vet Sherry Stringfield is heading to Sin City as Dawn, but it doesn’t seem like she’ll be stirring up any trouble, and rather she’ll be lending a helping to Morgan (Elisabeth Harnois) in a serial rapist case. Her skills as a “likeable, blue-collar swing shift CSI” will most likely aid in the investigation.
Obviously, there’s more than meets the eye to Dawn. She’s not only an investigator, but she’s also a mother trying to handle her son’s addiction problems. So far, Stringfield’s booked for one episode, which will air later this fall.
It’s been awhile since Stringfield’s popped up on the small screen. She’s dabbled in a variety of TV movies, but she’ll always be remembered for playing Dr. Susan Lewis on the long-running drama ‘ER.’ Not only was she admired for her doctor skills, but she was also beloved for her relationship with Dr. Mark Greene (Anthony Edwards).
Currently in its 14th season, ‘CSI’ has been making quite the headlines. From George Eads taking leave from the series after fighting with one of the writer’s to the procedural prepping for its 300th episode to Marg Helgenberger returning as Catherine Willows for the 300th celebration, ‘CSI’ is still going strong.
‘CSI’ airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on CBS.
