Sometimes fairytales really can come true! People magazine announced early this morning that 'Once Upon a Time' stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (who just so happen to play Snow White and Prince Charming) are now officially engaged in real life!
"We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can't wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at 'Once Upon a Time,'" the happy pair said in a statement. But the declarations of love didn't stop there. The recently betrothed couple also took to Twitter to express their joy over the exciting news.
"From my soon-2-b-Mrs-Dallas head 2 my soon-2-b-Mrs-Dallas toes, I'm oh-so grateful 4 your well-wishes! THANK U! -The Future Mrs @joshdallas," Goodwin tweeted earlier today. And Dallas himself wasn't too far behind, tweeting, "Thanks to all of you for the outpouring of love and congrats! @ginnygoodwin you have made me a very happy man!" How adorable is this?!?!
The two originally met on the 'OUAT' set and took their relationship public back in April 2012. And as they say, the rest is history. They already make the perfect on-screen married couple, so there's little doubt in our minds that they'll be living happily ever after.
No word yet on whether an actual wedding date has been set or not, but that won't stop fans (us included) from picturing all the details for the big day. (It's going to be fairytale themed, right?) And hey, maybe Goodwin can even borrow one of Snow's gorgeous gowns. The possibilities are endless!
But these two aren't the only couple to fall in love with their co-worker. Hollywood TV history is filled with numerous celebrity co-star couples, including Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer from 'True Blood' as well as Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman from 'Revenge.'
Congratulations to the happy couple and may you find the happy ending you deserve — both on and off screen!
