CBS, ABC, and FOX were all part of a rare three-way tie for the 18-49 demo victory. CBS still drew more total viewers, as per usual.
'Survivor' rose a single tenth to a 2.6. 'Criminal Minds' did the same, rising to a 2.7. 'CSI' only managed to rise one tenth from last week's series low. The 'Toy Story of Terror' special did as well as you might expect, drawing a 3.1 demo and beating the pants off of what 'The Middle' earned in the same slot last week. Bolstered by the great lead-in, 'Back in the Game' actually rose for once. It may have still only posted a 1.9, but this is the first good news it's gotten so far. 'Modern Family' went up two tenths to a 4.1, easily winning 9pm. 'Super Fun Night's initial spark is long gone, dropping four tenths to a 2.1. 'Nashville' matched last week's woeful 1.6.
The MLB American League Championship game garnered a 2.4 demo and 8 million viewers for FOX. 'Revolution' reaffirmed its status as the most disappointing sophomore series on television, setting yet another new series low. Lead-out 'Law & Order: SVU' rose two tenths to a 1.8. 'Ironside' dropped to a 1.0, and is on life support at this point. It was another good night for The CW, with 'Arrow' jumping up two tenths to a healthy 1.1., and 'The Tomorrow People' retaining nearly all of its premiere audience.
