'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.': Surprise in Clip from New Episode
Uh oh... who's side is Skye really on?
ABC released the following promotional clip from the fifth episode of 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' entitled "The Girl in the Flower Dress." The clip is a saucy one -- despite only revealing two minutes of footage, ABC has snuck quite a surprise in at the end.
'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' has held steady in the ratings over four episodes, earning it a back-nine pick up from ABC. This brought the total episode order to twenty-two episodes and, if they keep churning out quality like the fourth episode (titled "Eye Spy"), then they're sure to earn a second season beyond that. Arguably, "Eye Spy" was the best offering yet from the young series, as the show seems to be finding its stride and developing an interesting dynamic between each of the characters.
Who knows how those dynamics will change after "The Girl in the Flower Dress"... check out the clip:
Chloe Bennett, the stand-out of the series so far, seems to have quite a plot-line in store, coming up. At the end of Episode 4 it seemed like the show was preparing to tease a possible romance between Skye and Ward... but it looks like there's another burning romance on the young hacker's plate at the moment.
'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC.
we need more aliens/-so far there all human--and more action/story etc---so fat its like watching a team--hardly any blood etc-

"Churning out quality like the fourth episode" you gotta be kidding, it was simply the best of a bad bunch of episodes. So far the whole thing has been disappointing.
Skye is only the stand out because of her looks, apart from Coulson who doesn't get enough screen time her looks are the only other good thing about the show.

They've been hinting at her divided loyalties since the first episode, like in the text/message she sends at the end ("I'm in") and her speech when her cover is blown in 1x03 The Asset (she pretty much says she is playing SHIELD, she draws from the truth to be convincing). Not to forget that Coulson seems to be aware she might have a hidden agenda (in some of the discussions he's had with other characters), yet he is willing to let it play out because the team is benefitting from her unconventional thinking overall. And you know that they will (likely) win her over. It'd be too dark (considering the tone so far) if they don't and she becomes an arch-rival (albeit it might make for an interesting second season, before they bring her back into the fold).
