FOX rode the "Fall Classic" to victories in both the 18-49 demo and total viewers.
Game 1 of the 2013 World Series rose up a full six tenths from what last year's opener drew. 'Survivor' dropped two tenths, setting a new series low of 2.4. 'Criminal Minds' matched last week's 2.7. 'CSI' rose a single tenth to a 2.1.
'The Middle' matched last week's 2.2. 'Back in the Game' dipped two tenths to a 1.7, and things are starting to look bleak for the comedy. 'Modern Family' fell two tenths, setting a season low of 3.9. 'Super Fun Night' came in flat with last week's 2.1. 'Nashville' was also flat with last week's 1.6.
'Revolution' tied last week's series low of 1.4, once again coming in dead last among the four major networks at 8pm. 'Law & Order: SVU' also posted a 1.4. The recently canceled 'Ironside' predictably dropped, earning a 0.8. It was an off night for The CW, with 'Arrow' falling two tenths to a 0.9, and 'The Tomorrow People' garnering a 0.7. Both shows have been doing much better than this lately, leading me to assume that these numbers are probably baseball-induced outliers.
