Get pumped, folks, because Jane Seymour is returning to television. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former 'Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman' star (hey, remember that show!) will be returning to the small screen in the very near future now that she's booked her latest guest spot on ABC's brand new comedy 'Back in the Game.'
The actress has been tapped for the 12th episode of the Wednesday freshman sitcom — which recently received an order for two extra scripts — where she will play Danny's (Griffin Gluck) medicine woman teacher, Ms. Crosby. And apparently, the character has such an intimidating demeanor, it's even earned her the nickname "The Eviscerator." Yikes!
But she has her eyes on more than just lesson plans. In true Seymour fashion, Ms. Crosby is also something of a man-eater and sets her sights on Terry "The Cannon" Gannon (played by James Caan), who is less than responsive to her forward advances. Anyone else having a 'Wedding Crashers' Kitty Cat flashback? No? Just me?
Aside from her famous role as Dr. Quinn, Seymour has also earned TV credits in shows such as 'Franklin & Bash,' 'Newsreaders,' as well as 'Ben and Kate.' Are you excited for the actress's return to television? Will you tune in to watch? Sound off on your thoughts in the comments below!
'Back in the Game' airs on Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30c on ABC.
