'Sesame Street' Parody of 'Homeland' is Guaranteed to Make You Laugh
'Homeland' fans were in for a real treat this morning when the creative geniuses over at PBS released an amazing 'Sesame Street Homeland' parody called 'Homelamb' that is so good it'll make you want the Showtime series to be acted out in puppet form from here on out. (No, seriously — it's that good!)
In true parody form, the clip pokes fun at everything in the show from that strange opening jazz sequence to Carrie's (or rather Caaaaarrie‘s) gradual descent into love-induced madness by the big, bad Baaaahrody. It's pure comedic gold, but it will also make you yearn for the glory days of Season 1. Wondering where Brody's true allegiances lie offered a great driving force to the show's storyline. The same can be said in regards to the parody in a way that's truly puntastic — is he a wolf in sheep's clothing?
So even though Season 3 looks well on its way to dullsville, it's nice to get this little of reminder of what we loved about the series in the first place. Thanks 'Sesame Street,' for once again making things a little bit better. Now, can you tell me how to get this puppet version of the show on the air full-time?
Check out the hilarious clip below and relish in the joy of puppet magic. Happy Monday, everyone!
