Alexa Vega Teleports to ‘The Tomorrow People’ in Rival Role

Robbie Amell’s Stephen Jameson on The CW’s ‘The Tomorrow People’ is going to have one more person to battle it out with at ULTRA. Who will that be? It’s none other than Alexa Vega, Zap2it exclusively reports.

Vega joins the thrilling reboot as Hillary Cole and a rival to Stephen. Hillary comes to ULTRA, which is also run by the evil Jedikiah/Stephen’s uncle (Mark Pellegrino), as a new recruit. Of course, Jedikiah and his company that wants to destroy the Tomorrow People, pit Hillary and Stephen against one another. ULTRA only wants to see one of the supernatural beings qualify to the next stage of agent training. What happens to the loser? He/she will be stripped of his/her powers.

Hillary sounds like quite the rival, as she is described as a "ruthless, paranormal version of Tracy Flick" (portrayed by Reese Witherspoon in ‘Election'). According to Zap2it, she will go to the ends of the Earth to steal the prize from leading man Stephen.

For those who have followed Vega since her childhood stardom days, we know she’ll have no problem showing off her action skills. After all, she did appear in the ‘Spy Kids’ films. Vega first pops up in episode 11 of the freshman series.

How do you think Vega’s character will fare against Stephen aka the “ultimate” Tomorrow Person?

‘The Tomorrow People’ airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.

I dislike the idea of Hillary being Stephen's partner at still at Ultra. She is the one that wanted Stephen killed and Astrid. I will be glad when she leave the show. So the show can move forward with Astrid and Stephen. They belong together.
