‘Lying Game’s Alexandra Chando to Channel Miley Cyrus on ‘Castle’

‘Lying Game’s Alexandra Chando to Channel Miley Cyrus on ‘Castle’

After the unfortunate cancellation of ABC Family’s ‘The Lying Game,’ leading lady Alexandra Chando has found herself some new work.

According to TVLine, Chando is guest-starring on the ABC drama ‘Castle.’ Now, she won’t be playing the so-called good girl like she did as Emma on ‘The Lying Game,’ but she’ll be channeling more of the rebellious side of Sutton.

As ‘Castle’ creator Andrew W. Marlowe revealed to TVLine, the ‘As the World Turns’ alum will appear in the 11th episode as “a Lindsay Lohan/Miley Cyrus type who has had a big public meltdown. She’s somebody who has turned from America’s sweetheart into the kind of person who might twerk on MTV.” He also added, “It’s a good, fun character.”

It also looks like Chando’s character, who I’m sure Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) will have a field day with, will also have a strong effect on one of the main characters. Hmm...what do you think that means? Let us know in the comments!

Chando fans, are you looking forward to seeing the actress embrace her “Lindsay Lohan/Miley Cyrus” side? Personally, I can’t wait to see her strut it out on the hit drama. For those who watched ‘The Lying Game,’ we know Chando had no problem portraying twins, so I can only imagine that she’ll do wonderfully as a troubled twerking role model.

‘Castle’ airs Mondays at 10/9c on ABC.
