Someone's about to trade in their black robe and gavel for something a little more holy. TVLine reports that David Fonteno, who recurs on the acclaimed CBS legal drama 'The Good Wife,' is gearing up to guest-star on FOX's popular freshman thriller 'Sleepy Hollow.'
But he won't be demanding order in any court. In fact, he's going to be answering to a much higher power by playing the role of Reverend Boland, a Catholic Priest living in Manhattan who has seen quite a lot in his lifetime. (Though in a show that centers around a man with no head, we guess that's not really saying much.)
Fans will also discover that Fonteno's man of the cloth character has served as a longtime advisor to Orlando Jones’ Captain Frank Irving for a number of years, so be prepared to possibly delve into a little bit of their backstory. And given how little we know about Captain Irving's character (other than his on-going support of Abbie and Ichabod's mission), it should make for an interesting storyline.
The actor — whose other TV credits include stints on 'Blue Bloods,' 'Royal Pains,' and 'Law & Order' — will make his grand debut to the eerie series during episodes nine and ten. Now the only question that remains is...will he lose his head in the process? We'll just have to wait and see!
'Sleepy Hollow' airs Mondays at 9/8c on FOX.
