NBC and ABC split the Monday night victory.
Despite NBC's demo victory, 'The Voice' took a huge tumble, falling seven tenths to a 3.6 'The Blacklist' also took a hit, but to a lesser degree. The James Spader fronted drama dropped two tenths to a 2.9. 'Dancing with the Stars' dipped slightly, posting a 2.0. Conversely, 'Castle' rose slightly, posting a 2.2.
'How I Met Your Mother' made surprisingly high gains this week, jumping up four tenths to a 3.4. Not that it helped lead-out '2 Broke Girls,' which dropped a tenth to a 2.6. The heavily promoted return of 'Mike & Molly' drew a 2.6 of its own, down big time from last year's premiere, but up majorly from last season's finale. 'Mom' dipped slightly to a 2.0, but it still remains a good bet for renewal. 'Hostages' fell back to its previous low of 1.1. If nothing else, fans can take solace in the fact that the series was written to be a limited one, and the final episode is said to contain a definitive conclusion.
'Bones' and 'Sleepy Hollow' were both down two tenths from their last original episodes, earning a 2.0 and a 2.5 respectively. 'Hart of Dixie' and 'Beauty and the Beast' match last week's respective 0.3 and 0.4 ratings. As I said last week, I fully expect 'Hart' to get renewed, and 'Beast' to get the ax.
