The Big Bang Theory

CBS won the night in all measures.

'The Big Bang Theory' took a surprisingly big hit, dropping three tenths to a 4.9. To be fair, the comedy still crushed everything else. With 'Big Bang' back in the lead, 'The Millers' jumped up half a point to a 2.6. That right there shows the power of a good lead-in. 'The Crazy Ones' rose by a lesser degree, bumping up two tenths to a 2.1. At this point, I'd consider it a lock for renewal.

'Two and a Half Men' was the big loser of the CBS line-up, falling three tenths to a series low of 2.0. I'm sure another season will be ordered regardless though. 'Elementary' matched last week's 1.8, making Holmes and Watson more and more likely to get a third season.

We've entered full on crisis mode for 'Once Upon A Time in Wonderland;' the spin-off dropped to a dangerously low 0.9, and is absolutely certain to get canceled. 'Wonderland' will likely go down as one of ABC's biggest mistakes of the decade. 'Grey's Anatomy' held strong, despite the terrible lead-in. The veteran medical drama rose a tenth to a 2.7. Conversely, 'Scandal' dropped a tenth to a 2.8.

'The Voice's first results show of the season fell to a series low of 2.5 for NBC. 'Sean Saves the World' rose three tenths to a 1.4, showing its first real signs of life. 'The Michael J. Fox Show' wasn't so lucky, falling to a new series low of 1.0. As a fan of the series, this worries me greatly. 'Parenthood' climbed up a single tenth to a 1.3.

FOX had an absolutely awful night, with 'The X-Factor' jumping off a cliff. The singing competition posted a 1.2, eight tenths down from its last Thursday broadcast. 'Glee' came crashing back down to Earth, with the first post-Monteith episode plunging a point and a half, and tying its previous series low. 'The Vampire Diaries' continues to shine for The CW, rising four tenths to a 1.3. 'Reign' remains stuck at 0.6, and is squarely on the cancel/renew bubble right now.
