'Two and a Half Men' has seen its ups and downs since the very public departure of original star Charlie Sheen. The addition of heartthrob actor Ashton Kutcher helped the show retain most of its audience for awhile, but last year's tenth season seemed to be slowly running out of steam. To combat this, producers introduced a new character to the main cast this fall, Charlie Harper's (Sheen) long-lost lesbian daughter Jenny.
Played by Amber Tamblyn, Jenny exhibits many of her father's traits and has a weakness for many of his vices, including alcohol and womanizing. On that last note, 'TAAHM' has now cast a recurring love interest for Jenny, and she's a real 'Hellcat.' Aly Michalka is an actress and singer, probably best known to TV fans for her roles on Disney Channel series like 'Phil of the Future,' and her starring turn on the short-lived CW cheerleading dramedy 'Hellcats.'
Michalka will play Brooke, currently set to attract Jenny's attention for the first time in the 'TAAHM' episode airing on Thursday, Dec. 12. She is only currently signed to appear in one other episode this season, but would likely turn up in more if the reaction to Brooke and Jenny's pairing is positive. I doubt it'll last for too long though. Harpers always gotta go back on the hunt eventually.
Is Aly Michalka a good casting choice for Jenny's new love?
