One of The CW’s newest hits, ‘The Tomorrow People,’ is welcoming British beauty Elizabeth Hurley for two episodes, E! News exclusively confirms.
Hurley won’t be appearing in the flesh, but rather joining the series in a voiceover role. That’s right, she’ll be voicing Alice aka ULTRA’s super-computer. The tech-savvy role is similar to the Tomorrow People’s computer TIM (who is voiced by ‘Downton Abbey’s beloved Dan Stevens).
Unlike TIM, Alice is more on the evil side, after all she is working for Jedikiah (Mark Pellegrino) and a company that wants to eliminate Stephen’s (Robbie Amell) non-human kind. Not only is Alice working for the bad side, but she’ll also be causing trouble for our favorite teleporting group.
So far, Hurley’s voice will be heard in Episodes 10 and 12. There’s a possibility she’ll sign on for more. When she debuts in Episode 10, titled “The Citadel,” Stephen will go toe-to-toe with Alice who tracks down rogue Tomorrow People.
This isn’t the first time Hurley’s visited The CW. She guest-starred on ‘Gossip Girl’ as Diane Payne aka the lady who seduced Nate (Chace Crawford) and pretended to be Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) mother. I think she’ll fit right in on ‘The Tomorrow People’ as evil Alice.
What do you think about Hurley joining the series as a female super-computer?
‘The Tomorrow People’ airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
