Here's an extra reason to take a trip down the 'Once Upon a Time in Wonderland' rabbit hole. TVGuide has learned that the ABC fairytale spin-off has just recently closed a deal with Barbara Hershey to reprise her popular role as Cora, The Queen of Hearts, from the show's predecessor 'Once Upon a Time.'
Now, if you recall, Cora met her demise on 'OUAT' last season, so it's safe to say that this storyline takes place sometime before she makes her way to Storybrooke. (Unless she were to come back as a ghost of some sort, though that seems highly doubtful.)
As of now, Hershey is scheduled to only appear in one episode sometime in March though no specific date has been announced. Executive producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have also remained very hush-hush regarding what's to come of this cameo appearance.
Will the Queen of Hearts team up with the show's two other big bads, Jafar and The Red Queen, or will she opt to work solo? It would be interesting to witness a face-off between Cora and Jafar, given that Naveen Andrews was Hershey's real-life former beau.
But regardless of her specific end game, we'd say Alice is in store to face yet another foe. She may be needing those last two wishes after all.
