NBC won a rather sleepy Thanksgiving night in all measures.
The requisite primetime NFL game between the Ravens and the Steelers came in slightly below last Thanksgiving's broadcast, although it easily won the night as usual. ABC's annual airing of the classic special 'A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving' shot up half a point to a 1.6, an over 40% increase from what its 2012 telecast drew.
The heavily hyped 'Lady Gaga and the Muppets Holiday Spectacular' barely moved the needle, coming in well below the 1.2 earned by the 'Bad 25' Michael Jackson documentary that aired in the same slot last Thanksgiving.
'The X-Factor' fell to a new series low of 1.0. While that kind of number could normally be blamed on the holiday, it should be noted that last year's Thanksgiving airing of 'X-Factor' garnered a 2.8. The only scripted series to air a new episode on Thursday, 'Glee,' set its own new series low of 0.9. The holiday can't be blamed here either, as last year's Thanksgiving 'Glee' drew a 1.5.
