CBS won a slow Friday in all measures.
Christmas specials 'Hoops & Yoyo Ruin Christmas' and 'The Elf on the Shelf' both dropped down big time from what their respective 2012 airings earned. 'Garth Brooks: Live in Las Vegas' did considerably better, posting a 1.8 and almost single handedly giving CBS the victory.
The downward trend continued for ABC, with both 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' and 'Shrek the Halls' tumbling down almost a full point from what they drew last year. '20/20' also dropped seven tenths to a 0.9. 'Dateline' rose a tenth to a 1.2 for NBC.
'Grimm' dropped three tenths to a 1.3, which is actually a great sign when you consider its proximity to Thanksgiving. The day before and after Thanksgiving are like kryptonite for TV ratings. 'Dracula' matched its last outing's 0.9.
Two new installments of 'Raising Hope' dipped slightly, garnering matching 0.6s. 'Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer' decreased by one tenth from 2012's number. 'Nikita' stayed flat with last week's 0.2, as it continues the march towards its series finale.
