NBC won Monday in all measures.
'The Voice' matched last week's 3.4. The fall finale of recently renewed 'The Blacklist' rose two tenths to a 3.2, one of its best numbers since the series premiere. 'How I Met Your Mother' rose a tenth to a 3.0 for CBS. '2 Broke Girls' matched last week's 2.7. 'Mike & Molly' dropped a tenth to a 2.4.
'Mom' dipped two tenths to a 2.1, but a second season is now looking more and more likely. 'Hostages' earned its usual 1.1. 'Hostages' may not draw a big audience, but it definitely draws a very consistent one. 'CMA Country Christmas' increased slightly from last year's broadcast.
'Almost Human' continues to plummet, falling to a 1.7. This is the show's third drop in as many weeks, and if it falls below 1.5, I'm ready to predict a cancellation. A comedy like 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' can do okay enough with that number on FOX, but an effects heavy sci-fi series is another story.
When you consider that 2011's 'Terra Nova' (another high-concept sci-fi show) was canceled while regularly drawing 2.0 or above, 'Almost Human's prospects look even more dire. Furthermore, 2012's 'Alcatraz' (also produced by Bad Robot), was canceled while drawing in the 1.5 range. In other words, it's probably wise not to get too attached to Kennex and Dorian.
