'The Tomorrow People' Casts New Villain

James Landry Hebert

Hold onto your teleportation seat belts, folks, because a new baddie is making his way to 'The Tomorrow People' and, by the sound of it, he will be far more dangerous than Jedikiah (Mark Pellegrino) ever was.

So who exactly is this big, bad villain? According to TVGuide, the supernatural series has nabbed James Landry Hébert to play the role of The Wraith, a mysterious hitman who teleports past security and reads his victims minds. Sounds intriguing! (Well, less so if you're one of the victims, of course.)

The Wraith's introduction and murderous profession should not only make for an interesting storyline, but will also raise the question of whether the Tomorrow People are, in fact, evolving into natural-born killers or if this is simply one of Jedikiah's experiments gone horribly wrong. (It's been known to happen from time to time.)

But regardless of how The Wraith came to be, his presence eventually leads Stephen (Robbie Amell) and Cara (Peyton List) to stumble upon an even more surprising secret...which on this show could pretty much be anything. Perhaps it has something to do with Stephen's long, lost father.

Are you excited to learn more about Hébert's character? What new secret do you think will be unveiled? Sound off on your thoughts and predictions in the comments below!

'The Tomorrow People' airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.

Oh Kelly, the character sounds very predictable. Is it impossible to have MISFITS type powers? The girl with the Hypnotic breasts was an amazing idea.Tedious, unoriginal, and derivative seem to be the catchalls with modern television.A hitman who can teleport in, read minds then has the ability to kill with incessant diarrhea would peak the jaded crowds curiosity. ( And Kelly, when will we be seeing the summer calendar? I have been patiently waiting for those bikini shots and enticing poses.)
