Attention all 'Happy Endings' fans! This beloved sitcom is finally going to get some of the recognition it more than deserves. Entertainment Weekly has learned exclusively that VH1 has recently acquired all 57 episodes of the hilarious ABC comedy and will be airing them on Wednesdays starting in 2014.
But that's not all! First, the network plans to kick things off with a full-blown 'Happy Endings' marathon of all the episodes starting on New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m. and running all the way through New Year’s Day. (You guys didn't have any plans that night did you?)
Afterward, the show will then settle into its new time slot on Wednesday nights from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting Jan. 8. Additionally, the episodes will also be available online using VH1′s TV Everywhere platforms and the VH1 app.
Sure, this announcement isn't as exciting as the news of a full-fledged revival would be (the series was unjustly canceled after its third season last May), but it's definitely the next best thing. So get ready to have as much fun as Rom-Com-Con, Chaka-Khan-Con, Bond-Con, James…Bond-Con, all rolled into one!
So what say you, readers? Are you excited to see these beloved characters return to the small screen in this way? Are you already canceling all of your New Year's plans as we speak? Sound off on your thoughts in the comments below!
