If there's one thing 'Orphan Black' has taught us, it's the fact that sometimes more is definitely better. Which is why we're pleased to announce that the popular clone-heavy sci-fi series is upping its cast a bit by bringing on a rather dreamy guest star.
Deadline reports that 'Suits' star Patrick J. Adams is currently in the process of shooting a guest spot for the show's highly anticipated second season. The actor will play the character of Jesse — a brave but regular guy who lands in a ton of trouble after Tatiana Maslany's clone characters enter his life. But as for what happens next...well, we'll just have to wait and see.
Adams, himself, is an avid watcher of the show, a fact he's been anything but shy about, especially when he marathoned the BBC America drama earlier this year. So to actually be part of the series itself feels like a dream come true for him.
"From my first viewing of the first episode I knew there wasn't another show on television that I wanted to be part of more than Orphan Black," Adams said in a statement to ETonline. "Tatiana Maslany is doing some of the best work on TV. Period. Really, I just wanted front row seats to that performance."
He also tweeted the Deadline article link to his many Twitter followers with the caption: "Twitter....making dreams come true...#orphanblack" Seriously, could he be any cuter?
Season 2 of 'Orphan Black' premieres April 19 on BBC America. Will you be tuning in?
