Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

CBS won the night in all measures.

'NCIS' dropped ever so slightly to a 2.9. 'NCIS: LA' matched its most recent 2.4 rating. 'The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show' dipped two tenths from last year, but still soundly won the 18-49 demo race. 'The Biggest Loser' fell two tenths to a 1.9 for NBC. 'The Voice' also decreased, falling three tenths to a 3.1. 'Chicago Fire' earned a 2.2, down a smidge from last week.

In a bit of a shocker, 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' plunged down half a point to a series low of 2.1. 'S.H.I.E.L.D.'s last new episode had seen the action/adventure series post its first ever week to week increase, making this sudden drop quite unexpected. The show remains more likely to be renewed than not, although it's hard not to assume that ABC expected more when they teamed up with Marvel.

'The Goldbergs' rose two tenths to a 1.6, but remains firmly on the bubble. 'Trophy Wife' rose to a 1.2, but it's likely too little too late for that particular comedy to earn a second season. Former Friday night staple 'What Would You Do?' continues to bomb on Tuesdays, falling to a 0.9. FOX's broadcast of the 2013 American Country Awards matched last year's 1.4. The CW took the night off.

Well that victorias secret BS and thropy whife are equally as dumb and should be cancelled. Agents of SHIELD is new, just like arrow, and just like NCIS in the beginning, they need to get a feel for the show. Comparing arrow to agents of shield is also a " not so bright move". Both have very different aspects and, don't get me wrong I love both of them, should be treated  as such. Its like comparing NCIS to "killer contact" and saying that "killer contact" is bad, whitch it is. (not representing the historical facts, delusional assumptions on how women in the 15th century lived and their power, etc)

So people before jumping on the bandwagon and badmouthing series before you actually viewed them I suggest you watch trialers or the series themselves and make up your own mind. Arrow is assassins creed style story line, agents of shield is the marvel way of doing things. Both have a lot of potential and have produced very nice and entertaining episodes.

My advice: watch the series yourself. People that say.. this or that "pales".. should back it up with facts and even then you should make up your own mind. Everyone has his or her preferences :)

SHIELD's problem is that it's just not very good. It has been improving a little of late but thats not saying very much considering the low bar it set with the first few episodes. When you compare it to other shows of the genre such as Arrow then SHIELD pales in comparison.
