TBS sitcom 'Men at Work' begins its third season in less than a month, but that doesn't mean it's too late to add two TV veterans to the comedy's already stacked roster of upcoming guest stars.
As first reported by TVGuide, Jane Seymour (primarily known to small screen audiences for her years playing the title character on 'Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman') will appear as a high profile publishing executive who has a whirlwind affair with Milo (Danny Masterson). Seymour, 62, will seemingly be reprising the type of role she played in the film 'Wedding Crashers,' that of a powerful woman who uses her feminine wiles to seduce younger men. There is a 25 year age difference between her and Masterson, although I doubt he's complaining.
Also making a guest appearance will be TV legend Ed Asner. Asner is best known for his work as Lou Grant on 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show' back in the '70s, but has amassed over 300 credits during his nearly 60(!) year career. Asner will play Bob, a nice old man that finds Neal's (Adam Busch) bag containing his wallet, phone and laptop on a park bench and kindly returns it to him. As a reward, Neal offers Bob an internship at the magazine. Bob is also described as "eccentric," so I'd assume that hilarity ensues.
Seymour and Asner join previously announced guest stars Ryan Phillippe, David Krumholtz, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Lance Bass. Danny Masterson's sister Alanna will also turn up as a newly minted enemy of Tyler's (Michael Cassidy).
The 10 episode third season of 'Men at Work' premieres Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 10/9c.
