After spending three and a half seasons trying to survive the zombie apocalypse on AMC's 'The Walking Dead,' it appears that Steven Yeun could use a good laugh.
As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Yeun (who plays fan favorite character Glen on the hit horror series) has signed on to guest star in an upcoming episode of FOX animated comedy 'American Dad.' Yeun will play Charles, assistant to Vincent, whose parents were murdered during the most recent installment of 'American Dad's ongoing 'Golden Turd' story arc. Leave it to Seth MacFarlane to create a serial storyline revolving around a jewel encrusted piece of excrement.
While Yeun is best known for his live-action work on 'TWD,' this won't be the actor's first foray into voice over. Yeun currently plays the recurring character of Wan on Nickelodeon's 'The Legend of Korra,' a spin-off of the popular animated series 'Avatar: 'The Last Airbender.' He also voiced a minor character in two of the 'Crysis' video games by Electronic Arts.
Steven Yeun is only the latest guest star to be announced for 'American Dad's final FOX season, joining previously confirmed names like Zooey Deschanel, Olivia Wilde, Stanley Tucci, Alison Brie, and Kim Kardashian. 'American Dad' returns from its short winter hiatus on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 9:30/8:30c. The show will move to TBS in late 2014.
