The Ratings are holding up so far for Don’t Trust the B----- in Apt. 23 but the verdict is still out amongst many.
“Don’t be fooled by this new sitcom’s title, which shows restraint in abbreviating the “B” word. The show itself shows no restraint in terms of crudeness,” wrote Dean Robbins on sacurrent.com.
He did not hold back in his critique stating, “The only difference between Walker (June of The B in 23) and New Girl’s Zooey Deschanel is that she has no charm or comic talent. Okay, one other difference: She has terrible material to work with. This is one of those sitcoms where you can smell the desperation in the script. The writers try to get smarmy laughs from hookers and disabled people…I just figured out what the “B” stands for: bomb.”
Ouch! Play nice Dean! I, for one, have really enjoyed Don’t Trust the B and you, sir, are offending me! But I am a sucker for a wacky Sitcom, aren’t you TVRagers? What do you think?
Zap2it.com disagrees with the haters out there, “Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23 offers a new take on an old formula and it succeeds. It's weird, well cast and, most importantly, funny. Trust us.”
I trust you Zap2it, pinky promise! Make sure to catch the all-new episode tonight on ABC at 9:30pm E.T so you can weigh in and give your verdict.
