-Yesterday, E! News exclusively announced that ‘Glee’ actress Romy Rosemont (known for playing Finn’s mother) will be joining ABC Family’s ‘The Fosters’ in a recurring role. She’ll portray Amanda, “the quirky and sometimes challenging mother of Mariana's (Cierra Ramirez) new friend Zac (Julian De La Celle)." Rosemont makes her debut on Monday, March 3.
-Twitter has fastly taken over the Internet and the social media world. Well, now it looks like it will also take over the small screen. Lionsgate TV is developing a TV series based on Nick Bilton’s book ‘Hatching Twitter: A True Story of Money, Power, Friendship, and Betrayal.” Do we have the TV version of ‘The Social Network’ on our hands?
-A family comedy is coming to the USA Network. The working title is ‘Chrisley Knows Best,’ and the real-life family comedy will focus on Todd Chrisley, an Atlanta-based self-made multimillionaire, his wife Julie and their five children. They are described as a “picture-perfect” family, who are also living a very wealthy lifestyle.
-Deadline reports that the hit online series ‘Jake & Amir’ is coming to TBS. The network is developing a series based on CollegeHumor’s popular and longest-running series featuring comedians Amir Blumenfeld and Jake Hurwitz (the two will also star in the project). ‘The Office’s Ed Helms is set to produce the series that revolves around Jake and Amir’s “odd-couple friendship,” their work and, of course, their shenanigans.
