'Hannibal’ Poster Wants Us to Embrace the Madness, Season 2 Premiere Revealed

Mads Mikkelsen in Hannibal

Are you ready for seconds? If that’s the case, you’ll be happy to learn that NBC has now revealed ‘Hannibal’s Season 2 premiere date along with a brand new poster, which finds our beloved Will Graham in a bit of a bind…literally.

The series will kick off its new season on Friday, Feb. 28, marking a brand new timeslot for the prequel, which stars Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Lecter and Hugh Dancy as FBI profiler Will Graham. The 13-episode set-up will slide into ‘Dracula’s Friday night block — after it concludes on Jan. 24 — and follow immediately after longtime Friday vet, ‘Grimm.’ Let’s just hope it doesn’t meet the same fate as the unjustly canceled ‘Happy Endings’ or so many other shows before it.

“Bryan and his team are running on all creative cylinders once again and have delivered episodes full of intrigue, scares and surprises,” NBC President Jennifer Salke said in a statement. “The show continues to astound us with its incredible aesthetic beauty and its amazingly talented cast.”

‘Hannibal’ premieres Friday, Feb. 28 at 10/9c on NBC. But for now, feast your eyes on the latest poster and embrace the madness within! (Now, could you pass the fava beans and chianti, please?)

I can't wait for this to return. The first season was amazingly good.
