Netflix Releases Official Season 2 Trailer for 'House of Cards'

Another week, another bit of 'House of Cards' news. But this time, Netflix has finally released a full-length preview of its hit show's second season. Yes, that's right: no more intriguing phrases or mysterious silhouettes. Actual words!

In the intriguing trailer, we see that Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is now Vice President, but his - ahem - killer past is catching up with him, thanks to reporter (and Underwood's former "friend with benefits") Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara). Raymond Tusk (Gerald McRaney) is back and it seems he wants some political favors from Underwood or else he'll face unsightly repercussions. We also get a glimpse of how calculating (and scary!) Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) can be, which just reiterates for me that the Underwoods really are the modern Macbeths.

Though the new trailer reveals much more about the upcoming season than its previous installments, it still runs with the whole "food chain" metaphor that seems to be Underwood's go-to. This time we hear him utter, "Hunt or be hunted." Let the (hunger?) games begin.

Netflix also unveiled the new key art for the season, featuring Spacey and Wright, with the slogan "there are two kinds of pain." What does that even mean?!

Underwood parts us with, "welcome back," and we sure are glad he is.

Netflix releases the entire second season on Feb. 14.
