There will be even more Aisha Tyler on television soon -- if that's even possible. The busy actress/comedienne/host has landed a guest-starring stint on ABC's 'Modern Family.'
According to EW.com, Tyler will play an "intense" former law school classmate of Mitchell's (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) named Wendy who now runs the legal aid society where he gets a job. Not much else is revealed about the episode -- entitled "Spring-A-Ding-Fling" -- but it is scheduled to air sometime in March.
In addition to her 'Modern Family' gig, Tyler pulls double hosting duties on both CBS' 'The Talk' and The CW's 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' and also voices Lana Kane on the critically-acclaimed FX animated series, 'Archer.' And if that wasn't enough on her plate, it was announced back in November that the former 'Friends' guest star (I know it's been ten years since she did that show but she'll always be Charlie to me), will take a dramatic turn with a part on Ryan Murphy's upcoming sexually-charged pilot, 'Open,' for HBO. Phew!
Besides Tyler, other Season 5 guest stars on 'Modern Family' include Adam Devine, Jesse Eisenberg, Jane Krakowski and Nathan Lane.
'Modern Family' airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on ABC.
