In addition to all of the other news we’ve been reporting, here are a few entertainment and TV headlines you might have missed:
-'Modern Family’ is going down under! That’s right, everybody’s favorite ABC family is heading to Australia. Qantas airlines is flying out the cast, crew and showrunner Steven Levitan for two weeks to shoot another vacation episode, which will air later this season.
-TBS’ ‘The Pete Holmes Show’ will return for 13 more weeks. The midnight series will continue to air Monday-Thursday nights right behind ‘Conan.’ New episodes are slated for Feb. 24.
-ABC is getting ready to make hearts go pitter-patter with its new romantic half-hour comedy pilot from Jeff Lowell. The untitled project will focus on “the unfiltered internal monologues of a young couple embarking on a new relationship.”
-According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC’s ‘Odyssey’ has nabbed Anna Friel (‘Pushing Daisies’) for the role of Sgt. Odelle Ballard, who is described as “a fierce leader who left her husband and child at home and is the only woman in the squad.” Jake Robinson (‘Carrie Diaries’) has also joined the series as Harrison Wolcott, who is a protester against the G8 summit in New York.
-MTV’s series ‘Teen Wolf’ scored a series ratings high during its midseason premiere Monday night. The supernatural hit earned 2.43 million viewers, and pulled a 2.3 rating for ages 12-34.
