‘Justified’s new evil is heading for a little fun over at FOX. According to TVGuide.com, Michael Rapaport will guest star on ‘Raising Hope.’
Rapaport will play Michael, which won’t be too hard to remember, since that’s his real first name. Michael comes into play when Burt (Garret Dillahunt) and Virginia (Martha Plimpton) are thinking about adopting a puppy. Well, Michael wants to make sure the Chances will be fit parents for the pooch, so he comes to live with them. How do you think that will go?
Funnily enough, Rapaport’s character, Dale Crowe Jr., on FX’s hit series ‘Justified’ also has a kinship with animals, as he owns a gator farm. When he isn’t handling gators, he busy being the charming patriarch of a Florida crime family.
‘Justified’ just kick off its fifth season, and it was recently announced that the series, starring leading man Timothy Olyphant, might not go past Season 6. As FX executive Nick Grad said, “We like having shows that rate really well, and there’s an instinct that you want it to go on forever. But it doesn’t. If you’re making a great 80-hour movie, it has to have a beginning, middle and end. Going out at the right time is going to make your show last forever — we want to make shows that stand the test of time.”
Until that happens, you can still catch Rapaport on the series, in addition to his comedic stint on ‘Raising Hope.’
‘Raising Hope’ airs Fridays at 9/8c on FOX.
