Though we're still a few months away from 'Orphan Black's Season 2 premiere, there's still plenty to learn about our favorite clone-centric series. According to TVLine, BBC America confirmed Saturday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that the series would be upping its badass quotient by bringing Michelle Forbes on to guest star.
The actress — who recently wrapped up a stint on NBC’s popular Tuesday night drama 'Chicago Fire' — will join the show's second installment in a multi-episode arc. And it seems she'll be right in the thick of the action.
Forbes will play Marian Bowles, a powerful new player at the Dyad Institute with a birds-eye view on the war between Sarah and Rachel. But as for whether she turns out to be a friend or foe for the Clone Club remains to be seen. On a show like this, you never know who you can trust (which we kinda absolutely love about it).
Other Season 2 additions to the series include Michiel Huisman ('Nashville'), Peter Outerbridge ('Nikita'), and Ari Millen ('Rookie Blue,' 'Nikita'). And, of course, there's always the many, many faces of the extremely talented Tatiana Maslany to look forward to as well. Get ready for clone-mania!
'Orphan Black' returns Sunday, April 19 on BBC America.
