May the force be with you, Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard (Simon Helberg), because some big stars from ‘Star Wars’ are heading your way.
According to TVLine, ‘The Big Bang Theory’ is welcoming James Earl Jones (Darth Vader’s voice) and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia).
At last night’s Golden Globes, the entertainment publication learned from ‘Big Bang’ executive producers Bill Prady and Steve Molar that Jones and Fisher will guest-star as themselves in a future episode. It seems the two will come in contact with Sheldon. This is sure to be an out of this world experience for the ‘Star Wars’ fan, not to mention a big bragging moment. I wonder how Leonard, Raj and Howard will feel about this? One word: jealous.
‘Big Bang’ is no stranger to hosting legends and major guest-stars. In the past, fans have watched Bob Newhart (Arthur Jeffries aka Professor Proton), Leonard Nimoy, Stephen Hawking, Stan Lee, Steve Wozniak, George Takei, Buzz Aldrin, among many others, appear at one time or another on the hit CBS comedy.
Despite not winning any Golden Globes last evening (Parsons took home one for Best Actor in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical, in 2011) the comedy keeps hitting it out of the park galaxy. What will the series come up with next?
‘The Big Bang Theory’ airs Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS.
