It looks like Raj is about to get "lost" in love. TVLine has exclusively learned that 'The Big Bang Theory' star is about to fall head over heels for one of the show's upcoming guest stars in the form of Tania Raymonde.
The 'Lost' alum (who played Danielle Rousseau's daughter Alex in 'Lost') has just signed on to the Thursday night sitcom to star as a new romantic prospect for Kunal Nayyar’s intimacy-challenged characater. And if things go well, it could turn into a recurring role. (Here's hoping!)
Poor Raj is the only single friend left in the gang...well, unless we're counting Stuart (which we never are), so it'll be nice to see Koothrappali getting some love for a change. Let's just hope she doesn't have a tendency to climb out restaurant bathroom windows (those relationships never work out well).
So how exactly will they meet? Funny enough, it'll all be thanks to Raj's little canine companion. Raymonde will play a cute and somewhat surly veterinarian who ends up nursing Raj’s ailing dog, Cinnamon, back to health. There's nothing like bonding over a pet to spark some puppy love! (Bazinga!)
The actress's more recent credits include stints on NBC's 'Chicago Fire' and ABC Family's 'Switched At Birth.' Good luck on your newfound relationship, Raj, and may the force be with you!
'The Big Bang Theory' airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS.
