-The cast for the ‘24: Live Another Day’ event series keeps on growing. Now, fans will see Benjamin Bratt star as Steve Harris, the head of the CIA operations searching for Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in London.
-’The Vampire Diaries’ actor Kendrick Sampson is heading to FOX’s ‘Broadchurch’ remake, ‘Gracepoint.’ He’ll play Dean Iverson, who not only dates Chloe, but also works at his uncle’s restaurant and is saving money to go to community college. If that isn’t exciting enough, ‘One Tree Hill’s Kelsey Chow is heading to FOX’s ‘Hieroglyph,’ where she’ll play Lotus Tenry, “a young and wiry concubine of a more grounded allure than her fellow concubines, who is a spy for a rival kingdom.”
-Kelen Coleman (‘The Office,’ ‘The Mindy Project’) has recently booked a role in CBS’ pilot ‘The McCarthys.’ She’ll portray Jackie McCarthy, who is roommates with her gay brother.
-ABC Family’s ‘Switched at Birth’ is getting musical. According to TVLine, the hit series will air an episode, March 3, featuring dancing in every act. Such dances range from line dancing to the rumba, and each dance number will be a part of both storylines and fantasy sequences.
-NBC has ordered three more comedy pilots. ‘Love is Relative,’ focuses on a married couple and their life after the wife’s newly divorced brother moves in. ‘Mission Control,’ revolves around a woman butting heads with a macho astronaut in the race to land on the moon in 1962. Lastly, ‘Ellen More or Less’ tells the story of a woman’s new life, after she loses 100 pounds.
