‘Drop Dead Diva’ Season 6 Premieres This Spring on Lifetime

Jane’s (Brooke Elliott) back, and not just from the dead, but from ‘Drop Dead Diva’s Season 5 finale.

‘Drop Dead Diva’ Season 6 Premieres This Spring on LifetimeThat’s right Lifetime fans, the beautiful lawyer is stepping back into those fancy heels and the courtroom for Season 6 of the hit lifetime dramedy come this spring. As you can see on the left, Lifetime recently tweeted the fun image to get fans excited for the upcoming season.

The network isn’t the only one pumped for the return of Jane, Grayson (Jackson Hurst), Stacy (April Bowlby), Teri (Margaret Cho), Owen (Lex Medlin), Kim (Kate Levering) and, of course, Paul (Justin Deeley), but so is ‘Diva’ creator Josh Berman.

As Berman tweeted, “It's true. #dropdeaddiva returns to @lifetimetv in SPRING, a full season a head of schedule! @real_brooke @margaretcho @katelevering.” This means, the series is coming back to the small screen three months early. That might be even better news than an angel getting his/her wings on ‘Diva.’

Last season, and the fifth season finale, left fans wanting more. Not only did Jane (who’s really Deb in Jane’s body) and Grayson share a passionate kiss, but Britney returned (who’s really Jane in another body) angry that Jane didn’t notify her of her mother’s illness/death. Furthermore, Jane’s secret was revealed -- sort of -- twice. Once by Elaine Bingum, and once by Britney, who told Grayson that Jane isn't who she says. Fans are still wondering if Jane’s secret is really out in the open.

Next season is sure to bring more drama and even more diva.
