Step aside Elijah (Daniel Gillies), because a handsome, rugged werewolf is coming Haley’s (Phoebe Tonkin) way on 'The Originals.'
According to Zap2it, hunky Australian Nathan Parsons is joining the New Orelans-based series and ‘The Vampire Diaries’ spin-off as Jackson. Not only is he a “ werewolf acquaintance” of Haley’s, but he possesses “the underlying ruggedness of a werewolf raised in the Bayou, but he's magnetic, smart and strong-willed -- the natural trusted leader of his pack.”
Do I sense trouble in potential paradise for Haley and Elijah? I guess we’ll have to wait see, but it’s evident that another beautiful man is coming to The CW. No complaints here. Parsons' first episode debuts on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
It’s been a good week for Parsons, as last night it was also revealed by TVLine that the ‘General Hospital’ and ‘Bunheads’ alum is also joining HBO’s ‘True Blood.’ During the seventh and final season of the vampire hit series, Parsons will take over the series regular role of James, originally played by Luke Grimes.
Reportedly, James will become involved in a surprising love triangle, which shouldn’t come as a shock to die-hard ‘True Blood’ fans. The show is full of blood, lust, love, of course, sex. The latter usually goes hand-in-hand when playing a vampire.
Soon enough, Parsons will be a pro at playing supernatural creatures.
‘The Originals’ airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW, while ‘True Blood’ is slated for this summer.
