'The Walking Dead' Midseason Return Trailer Is Finally Here!

The Walking Dead midseason return trailer is finally here

Zombie enthusiasts can stop moaning and groaning (let's leave that kind of behavior to the actual flesh-eating zombies, shall we?). For AMC has just released a new midseason promo/teaser trailer for the second half of 'The Walking Dead‘s fourth season, which returns in early February.

This 30-second clip — set to a creepy version of 'Bad Moon Rising' by Creedence Clearwater Revival — picks up right where things left off last fall with the survivors scattered and on the run after The Governor’s quixotic attack. And without the prison to help keep them at least somewhat safe, the survivors are in definite peril.

Grief and misery...zombie slicing and dicing...running for dear life...just an average day in this post-apocalyptic world we've grown to love. But does our not-so-merry band of survivors have what it takes to persevere? "I know we're not too far gone," Rick (Andrew Lincoln) declares, though it sounds like he's trying to convince himself of that moreso than anyone else.

The undead can really take the life out of you, wouldn't you say? Check out the brand new trailer of zombie goodness below and see what sort of trouble lies ahead.

'The Walking Dead' returns Sunday, Feb. 9 at 9/8c on AMC.
