Gather 'round ‘NCIS’ fans, because we have some exclusive news on Muse Watson’s next role.
Watson, known for playing the beloved Mike Franks on the hit CBS Navy series alongside Mark Harmon, is heading to FX’s ‘Justified.' Last Monday, it was revealed that Watson earned a special guest spot on the lawman series, but now we have official details on his role. Watson will be potraying the character of Elmont Swain, TVRage has exclusively learned.
‘Justified’ co-executive producer/writer Dave Andron and writer Leonard Chang describe the character as follows, “Elmont Swain is an ailing man living in a retirement home when he's confronted by Boyd Crowder [Walton Goggins]. As part of the mining and hardscrabble landscape, Elmont has lived a tough life, and presents Boyd with a difficult decision.”
His episode is set to air Tuesday, March 4 at 10/9c.
Watson is currently filming his guest spot, as he tweeted earlier today, “Filming "Justified" in Whittier today. Same location i filmed "Suburban Gothic" with @OfficialKat.”
This isn’t the only recent news to be released about ‘Justified,’ as it was revealed at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that the acclaimed series will come to a close after its sixth season. The decision was agreed upon by showrunner Graham Yost and lead actor Timothy Olyphant.
Watson's other TV credits include guest spots on 'Castle,' 'Franklin & Bash,' 'The Mentalist,' and, of course, his recurring role of Charles Westmoreland on 'Prison Break.'
‘Justified’ airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on FX.
